Is Grant My Wishes a registered non-profit?

Yes. We are registered in the state of Texas.  

What exactly do you do at Grant My Wishes Organization?

We are gift-givers, birthday celebrators, and memory makers! But most importantly, we make sure every child feels unforgotten and worthy by granting wishes of their own personal needs and/or wants, and celebrating their lives. Giving every child a chance  to feel loved, bring them happiness, giving them positive memorable childhood memories, and providing life-enhancing opportunities whenever possible.

How is Grant My Wishes funded?

 Grant My Wishes revenue comes from a combination of individual and business donations.

Who qualifies to become an Agency Affiliate?

 Any nonprofit agency is eligible to participate 100% FREE to grant wishes for children who serve abused, neglected, abandoned, and homeless children:

  -Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Agencies 

  -Crisis Shelters

  -Foster Care Agencies

  -Shelters caring for homeless families

  -State and County Child and Family Service Departments

I work as an adovcate for chilldren. How can I become an affiliate with Grant My Wishes to help children receive wishes?

Follow These Simple Instructions:

  o  On our website, click on the Registration Tab

  o  Click on Agency Affiliate Tab

  o  Click on the Membership Level ”Agency Affiliate Only"  fill out registration form 

  o Must provide proof of non-profit status

  o  Submit

  o Once you receive an account number you will be able to submit wishes for children

How to enroll a child?

Must be in the care of a child protection agency service:

  o  Must have an Agency Affiliate account number before you can enroll a child

  o  Enroll each child 'Child Enrollment Form" under Registration Tab

How to submit a wish for a child?

  o  Enroll each child with your Agency Affiliate account number

  o  Enter child’s wish "Submit-A-Wish" Tab

  o  Submit a wish per child

How does Grant My Wishes work?

 -Agencies become partners with Grant My Wishes

 -The caseworkers submits wishes on behalf of the children to Grant My Wishes 

 -Grant My Wishes posts wishes onto website.

 -Positive Community Influencers grants the wishes

 -Grant My Wishes ships granted wish to child in special packaging within 24-48 hours.

How can I make a wish for a child?

 -Select method of payment

How do you know that Grant My Wishes is effective?

 As part of our Terms and Conditions agreement with our Agency Affiliates, the Agencies agree to complete a Recipient Data Report itemizing the number of cards, granted wishes packages received, and goody bags distributed. They are asked to report on how receiving the gifts helps the physical and psychological aspect of the children’s well-being .

Our required reports that we receive from our Agency Affiliates is additional confirmation of the happiness presented by the children receiving their own personal gifts. 

How do I know that the child I purchased a wish for receives the gift?

 We keep reports from our Agency Affiliates, if at any time you wish to know the feedback, simply provide your confirmation number you received at checkout, and we will be more than happy to email you with the information once we receive our feedback reports.

What percentage of my donation goes to benefit the cause directly? How much of my donation is used for administrative and/or operating costs?

 90% of all revenue goes directly to Grant My Wishes Program to grant wishes. 10% is used for administrative and operating costs.

Can I make a cash donation? How do I do that?

 Yes, donation of funds is always needed and are tax-deductible. Grant My Wishes needs cash donations in order to keep our program going. Donations can be made by check (address listed above) or through our secure PayPal link provided on our website.

I am an owner of a business how can we become partners?

  Fill out Sponsorship Request Form. 

I have used items that are in excellent condition; can I donate the used items to Grant My Wishes?

  No, we only provide new item(s) to the children when granting thier wish(es).

Does Grant My Wishes help all underprivileged children?

   ANY child that has been placed in the care of children protective services and/or homeless shelters are eligible to receive gifts, goody bags, and cards. We want to make sure all children who are facing adversities a sense of knowing their wants or needs are just as important as anyone else’s. 

I’m a student. Can you sign my volunteer sheet for community service hours at my school?

  Yes, we can! Grant My Wishes will be happy to help, we will sign off on 1 hour per 25 handmade cards. 

How can I help if I live out of state?

  You can make handmade cards, cash, and goody bag donations. Grant Wishes!! Spread the word about us via your social media outlets. Like us on Facebook!  You can also contact your local foster care agencies, CASA, group homes; etc. Communicate the necessity of our services and encourage them to become an affiliate with us. After they become an affiliate with Grant My Wishes, then they will be eligible to submit wishes on behalf of the children they assist in your area.
